Shout out to Bill, our October volunteer of the month! Bill started volunteering this summer during daytime volunteer hours, and came to us from other bike co-ops from around the states. Bill joined our Tailwind for Tools team, and quickly began canvasing the neighborhood for connections and donations. He garnered some great local food donations and able items as well shared with new folks about our work. Thanks for jumping in and helping The Recyclery in such sa meaningful way right away!
Why he volunteers: “I am drawn to the Recyclery by the community of people who have forged a fun, sociable and inclusive environment while working hard to achieve a mission I strongly support. It’s meaningful to me because I get to help the local community, support sustainability, make friends and indulge my passion for cycling!”
Thank you Bill and can’t wait to try all the delicious food you’ve gathered at Tailwind for Tools!
