Update as of 12/15/2022:
Even though the City of Chicago has dropped their indoor mask mandate in public spaces, the Recyclery will continue to require masks for all employees and customers.
By wearing appropriate face coverings, we are making a commitment to take care of the most vulnerable members of our community, including those who are immunocompromised or ineligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
We expect to re-evaluate the situation as the weeks progress.

!
All staff and visitors must wear appropriate face coverings while inside the building.
Examples of such face coverings include masks that completely cover your nose, mouth, and chin, and fit snugly against the sides of your face and don’t have gaps.
!
Volunteer Hours are currently only open to vaccinated volunteers.
!
Any person in our organization who is mildly sick or interacts regularly with someone who is, will be sent home and/or asked to stay home.
We are working very hard to incorporate recommendations from the CDC and state and local government agencies. Our staff will help us ensure a safe and healthy environment by following CDC recommendations re: wearing face coverings at all times, social distancing, hand washing, and avoiding handshakes and person-to-person contact.
