Jim started volunteering at the Recyclery early in 2025, and has been a consistent daytime volunteer ever since. His kind manner and curiosity make him a welcome addition to volunteer hours. He has also helped many new Freecyclery bikes make their way to new homes!
In his own words: “I choose to volunteer at the Recyclery because it’s a great cause—way more interesting than a soup kitchen, it feeds my love of projects…but keeps me humble always needing help from Max and Jim, it entertains me…I enjoy the camaraderie in the shop from the other volunteers and staff who also believe in the mission of the Recyclery.”
